Shared Hosting	Most web hosting companies offer virtual hosting. This means that you share the same server resources, limited control, shared server applications, shared databases, shared FTP, shared mail server with potentially hundreds of other web sites in the same directory. This setup can affect your site's performance and security.
VPS Hosting	Virtual hosting (VPS hosting) is a technology where a web server is divided into multiple isolated server environments. Each section has its own server software providing a independence for that site. A crashed application (Apache, Sendmail, MySQL etc.) in another client's VPS has no effect on your VPS. You also have the option to install your own applications, administrative controls (similar to root), dedicated web, mail, database, and ftp server.

Each VPS comes with a web space manager for webmasters to maintain the server easily and quickly. The manager allows you to monitor your server statistics, maintain email and FTP accounts, install server applications, and maintain domain information, subdomains, web aliases, and DNS information. The deluxe package allows you to create multiple domains and host multiple web sites on a single VPS. Domain Registration:

Domain Registration is an easy process with Matthew Fleming Inc. Just let us know the domain you would like and we will take care of it from there. You may also just point your domain to our servers, refer to our resources page for DNS information. All domains (.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .us, .ws, .name) are billed at $14.95/year with the exception of .tv which are billed at $39.95/year.

Domain Transfers:

Transferring a domain to Visual Designs is a very easy process. We transfer the domain and add an extra year on to the current expiration data. For example: if your web site currently expires Sep 26, 2006, after it is transferred it will expire on Sep 26, 2007. Domain transfers are the same price as domain registrations.

E-mail addresses:

Having your own email address at your domain makes your web site look even more professional. Example: info@yourdomain.com. To have an email address hosted at our servers gives you access to web based email and the option of having the ability to use your favorite mail program such as Microsoft Outlook.
